Akshay Kumar, also known as Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia, is a renowned Indian actor, producer, and television personality. He was born on September 9, 1967, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. His father, Hari Om Bhatia, was a military officer, and his mother, Aruna Bhatia, was a homemaker. Akshay grew up in Delhi and later moved to Mumbai to pursue his career in acting.
Akshay Kumar began his career as a martial arts instructor in Mumbai. He then worked as a model and appeared in several commercials before making his debut in the film industry. His debut film was Saugandh (1991), in which he played the lead role. However, his breakthrough role came with the film Khiladi (1992), which was a huge commercial success. Since then, Akshay has acted in more than 150 films and has won several awards for his performances.
