Comedy king Kapil Sharma Biography
Kapil Sharma is an Indian comedian, actor, and television personality. He was born on April 2, 1981, in Amritsar, Punjab, India. Kapil's father, Jeetendra Kumar Punj, was a head constable in the Punjab Police, and his mother, Janak Rani, was a housewife. Kapil was educated at Shri Ram Ashram Sen. Sec. School in Amritsar and then graduated from Hindu College in Amritsar with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
Kapil's career in comedy began when he participated in the comedy reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge in 2007, where he won the title. He then went on to host several seasons of Comedy Circus, another popular comedy show in India. In 2013, Kapil launched his own comedy show, Comedy Nights with Kapil, which became a huge hit and catapulted him to fame.
Apart from his television career, Kapil has also acted in a few films such as Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, Firangi, and Bhavnao Ko Samjho. He has also hosted several reality shows, including Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and The Kapil Sharma Show.
